Diane K. Bowe, 88, of Eau Claire, died Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Mayo Clinic Health System – Osseo.
Diane was born December 6, 1937, the daughter of Edward O. and Mildred (Yohnk) Bowe.
Diane spent most of her life on the family farm in Tilden, surrounded by the love of her parents. In her earlier years, she would always feed the chickens and help her mother with the dishes. She spent many happy hours swinging on her swing and playing the “Concentration” card game with her mother – simple moments that meant so much to her.
Many of us never heard Diane complain about anything. She carried herself with quiet strength, gratitude, and grace. She loved wearing jewelry and having her nails polished, taking joy in the little things that made her feel special.
Above all, Diane was a kind, gentle, and positive soul. Her warmth and sweetness touched the lives of those around her. She is lovingly survived by her numerous nieces and nephews, who will continue to carry her memory in their hearts.
Diane worked at Chippewa River Industries and was a member of St. Peter’s Church.
Diane is survived by one son, Darin (Jennifer) Gnirk of LaValle, three grandchildren, Brianna, Morgan and Peter, two brothers, Mike (Donna) of Chippewa Falls and Wilbur (Carol) of Cameron, and sisters-in-law, Joanne Bowe of Bloomer, and Deloris Bowe of Chippewa Falls.
Diane was preceded in by her parents; and two brothers, Darrell and Melvin Bowe.
