Richard A. Boettcher

Richard A. Boettcher, 72, of Chippewa Falls, town of LaFayette, died Sunday, February 8, 2026 at his residence under the care of Heartland Hospice.

Richard was born November 19, 1953 in Chippewa Falls, the son of Reuben and Eleanor (Vavra) Boettcher.

On July 5, 1983, Richard married Pauline Rands in South Dakota. He worked at Menards for 43 years.

Richard is survived by his wife, Pauline; one daughter, Stevie Boettcher of Menomonie; one brother, Timothy Boettcher of Chippewa Falls; and two sisters, Marilyn Fellenz and Carol Pevan both of Chippewa Falls.

Richard was preceded in death by one son, Reuben Boettcher; his parents; and one brother, LaVerne Boettcher.

A Celebration of Life will be held from Noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 11 at Bateman Tavern in the town of LaFayette.
